A 60-2 Extended Life CHP (Hard Chrome Pin) chain was being used. In this application, chains are not lubricated. Oatmeal dust is abrasive and it caused the chain to elongate, aecting the precise timing needed to ll the pouches.
Sinter bushed chain cannot be used in this application, as the oatmeal dust will draw the lubricant out of the bushing
